#7252 Art Deco Chinese Rug This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug measures 4’2” x 5’9’. There are two pairs of phoenix birds in blue, orange, brown and ivory sitting on a yellow rock separated by eight flying birds in yellow and purple, all on a dark rose ground. The wide pale gray border is very interesting. It is composed of pagodas in the center, top and bottom and very large sized flower urns in the corners and in the center. These are all interconnected with flowering vines. The vines come in to the center of the rug forming a sort of medallion. This is very interesting. This rug is in mint condition.
