#7226 Peking Chinese Rug

This circa 1900 Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 8’0” X 9’7”. It has lustrous velvety wool.  There is a central medallion of vines and flowers surrounded by sprigs of flowers containing bluebirds, all on an ivory ground.  It has a minor border of scrolling vines with grapes on a copper ground.  The major border is medium blue with large ivory flower heads connected with meandering vines.  The ends and sides are complete.  The rug is essentially in mint condition.  It is clean and ready to go.  The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $90.00.
