#7220 Ningxia Throne back

This circa 1850 Ningxia throne back measures 2’5” x 2’8”. It has a full on Dragon in blue on a yellow Ningxia ground.   There are cloud motifs on either side of the Dragon’s head which is rather odd.  There is a wave border at the bottom surmounted by the sacred mountain.  This throne back has a hash mark in blue at the end of the dragon’s tail, which is something I’ve not seen before in a thrown back.   The rug is full pile, although there is a teeny, teeny, teeny moth spot in the lower left corner.  The ends and sides are mostly complete.  The rug is clean and ready to go.  The buyer pays for shipping with insurance of $30.00.
