#7208 Indo Kashan

This circa 1900 Indo Kashan measures 11’10” X 13’10’. The size of this rug is utterly fantastic, as nearly square sizes are hard to find.  It has a deep indigo blue field completely covered in flowers with no medallions or corner work.  There are hundreds of flowers, all connected with interspersed vines.  Every single flower is connected to every single flower in an intricate, never ending tangle of foliage.   The border is magenta with more flowers, upon flowers, upon flowers.  The rug is in a word “elegant”.  This rug has great pile, with one or two slightly low spots.  The wool is rich and supple, sort of like  pashmina.  The ends and sides are complete.  It is clean and ready to go.  The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $200.00.
