#7203 Leshgi Star Shirvan
This antique Leshgi Star Shirvan is dated 1310 for 1893. It measures 3’ 4” x 4’ 7”. It
is a very lovely antique Shirvan dated in two places. It has three stars, two red on green
and one ivory on dark blue which are on a brown ground .
The rug is very asymmetric with many small figures such as small S motifs,
quartered diamonds, flower blossoms, and palmettes. It has an ivory minor border with
eight pointed stars. It has a rust major
border with flower blossoms. It has a
reciprocal red and blue ‘dogs tooth’ outer border.
The rug has great pile . The
ends and sides are complete. It is clean and
ready to go. The buyer pays shipping with
insurance of $50.00.
