#7176 Art Deco Chinese Runner This circa 1925 Art Deco Chinese runner measures 2’7” X 14’7”. It is a stunning full pile, perfect condition deep garnet colored Art Deco Chinese runner in a very hard to find size. The motif consists of huge yellow and blue flowers growing out of a small rockery. Looking up the carpet there are more flowers being investigated by a beautifully drawn butterfly in purple, ivory, and two shades of blue. Further up the carpet we see a two story very detailed pagoda on a lakeside over which is a rockery, flowering tree and another butterfly. Proceeding upward is a two-tiered pavilion on another lakeside sitting on an island on a lake under a stand of bamboo. This beautiful runner is in mint condition. It is clean and ready to go.
