#7175 Peking Chinese Rug This third-quarter 19th-century Peking Chinese rug measures 5’10’ x 8’9”. It has a diamond design on a peachy coppery ground with five medallions, each consisting of four bats facing inward in two shades of blue and ivory towards a large yellow flower motif. The minor border is the ivory pearl motif on a navy ground. The major border has flower and fretwork separated by peach carnations. The rug is full pile.
