#7167 Peking Chinese Rug This circa 1900 Peking Chinese rug measures 8’2’ X 9’2”. It has a very cute Art Deco design with a little motif in the left-hand corner of a fat little Chinese boy standing in a birdbath holding a tray of flowers above his head looking very cute and very happy. The upper right-hand corner has a very large weeping willow tree taking up nearly one quarter of the rug. Meandering vines and flowers move in and out of the border into the field. The top shows wear as visible in the photograph. The rest of the rug is in okay condition. This rug is being sold as is. The buyer pays the shipping with insurance of $75.00. |
