#7082 Mongolian Rug
This circa 1940 Mongolian
rug measures 3’3” X 5’7”. It is blue on blue surrounded by blue. As you may have guessed, blue is the only color in
this rug, of which there are three shades. The
center medallion is one of the many representations of ‘shui’ for good luck, and
is flanked on either end in flowering branches in, what a shock, blue! The corners are worked in Chinese fretwork pattern
