#7070 Jaf Kurd
This circa 1900 Jaf Kurd measures 4’0” X 2’8’. It has a typical diamond motif with latch hook medallions. The black separating the diamonds is eroded giving a nice embossed effect. Some fill in has been done in the black. It has a nice minor border in a triangle motif in blue, blue-green, red, brown and putty. It has a typical flower head motif in the major border with the exception that the flower heads are separated by a horizontal line in the two vertical borders. There is a very nice touch in the upper right-hand border which is a unique element to this piece and totally out of place, giving a nice feeling of asymmetry to the entire piece. The rug is full pile. The end and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping of $50.00.
