#7067 Peking Chinese Rug
This circa 1900 Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 4’1” X 6’11”. It has an ivory field completely covered in foliage and flowers in blue, red and black with large peacocks standing on one orange leg on a tree branch facing each other at either end, encompassed with the wide blue border containing cartouches with flowers, houses and trees. The rug has slight moth damage at the lower end in the border directly beneath the peacocks leg, as visible in the photographs. This can be easily repaired. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays for shipping a $50.00.
