#7001 Peking Chinese Rug 

This circa 1910 Peking Chinese Oriental rug measures 5’1” X 7’10”. It has a nice scene of eight men blowing off the day.   The two in the foreground are gossiping about the days events.  In the background are four men kibitzing a game of Go.  There is a ghost tree rising out of the background with a nice mélange of falling leaves.  All is on an ivory ground with a major border composed of swirling cloud forms in purple, blue, green, and gray interspersed with large exceptionally well drawn bats, undoubtedly showering good luck on the players.  This rug is in essentially perfect condition.  It is clean and ready to go.  The buyer pays the shipping of $50.00.
