#6955 Art Deco Chinese Rug

This circa 1930 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 9’0” X 11’8”. Do you want Deco?  This is as Art Deco as a rug can possibly get.  It has it all.  It has a fabulous asymmetrical geometric design.  There are three borders at one side of the rug in ivory going to yellow, solid Prussian blue and cordovan going vertically down 90% of the rug and arching over to the center of the short side.   The field is a true honey yellow upon which floats a large ivory to silver orb trisected with bars in yellow, blue and cordovan.   Two more orbs float below. One is in cordovan and one is in Prussian blue.  One is in front of the other, not unlike an eclipse.  These are also trisected with vertical bars in yellow, Prussian blue, ivory to silver and cordovan.  This rug is full pile.  The selvages have never even been opened.  Everything is original.  This is a one of a kind rug.
