#6950 Art Deco Chinese Rug
This circa 1920 Peking Chinese weave Art Deco Chinese rug measures 6’2” x 8’7”. It has a pale mocha field with a center medallion of a bird in a tree which is growing out of a rockery in shades of blue, ivory, lavender and pink. It has a lazy S minor border with large flowers and blossoms in ivory and lavender. It is all encompassed with a solid blue border with more blossoms. There are some small moth trails at the upper end. It has evenly low pile, with no foundation showing. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go.
