#6909 Persian Laver Kerman

This circa 1880 Laver Kerman measures 9’9” X 13’3”. What can I say?  This Palace sized beauty is simply outrageous.  It has a deeply saturated rose red field with three medallions in the form of rosettes in yellow, gold and blue.  The two end rosettes are split in half and repeated at the edges of the field.  The center one at the ends, are separated by a very deep green undulating form.  The entire field is covered with a very intricate scrolling flower and vine motif.  The major border consists of very intricate flower motif on a dark blue ground.  This carpet is 99% mint condition.  The ends and sides are complete.  The rug is clean and ready.  The buyer pays the shipping of $250.00.
