#6880 Yuruk

This circa 1880 Yuruk rug measures 3’7” X 7’10”. It has a three panel field on a maroon ground with a center octagon medallion flanked by two rectangles in deep blue with a well saturated beautiful green.  The border is typical Yuruk with octagons filled with crosses in gold, camel hair, ivory and blue.  The ends are finished off with very nice Soumak work. There are slight areas of crease wear as photographed.  One edge needs slight re-wrapping.  The rug generally has good pile.  It is clean and ready to go.  The buyer pays the shipping of $50.00.
