#6837 Art Deco Chinese Rug

  This circa 1930 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 8’7” X 11’6”. This reddish brown, almost a burnt sienna, rug has a very interesting design.  It has flowering bamboo up the left side going entirely off the carpet.  There is a large trailing of flowers across the top giving the impression of going off into the distance up to the point of actually being cut off.  Across the bottom there is a thin line of flowers with a butterfly which becomes a huge explosion of flowers and butterflies bursting up the right side of the rug.  Very interesting.  Very Art Deco or Art Nouveau in character.  This carpet is in excellent condition.  The ends and sides are complete.  It is clean and ready to go.  The buyer pays the shipping of $100.00.
