#6806 Art Deco Chinese Rug
This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 2 ‘0” x 3’ 4 “.It has a medium green field with nicely worked corners in yellow gold. It has a center medallion of gold flowers surrounded by a circular rockery in two shades of blue, purple, lavender, maroon, and yellow. There are sprigs of oak leaves with acorns coming up from both ends into the field. There are four gold bats in the field diving towards the acorns, all encompassed with a gray border containing circular cartouches with various animals and floral motifs. There are red and purple grapes with foliage. The rug is full pile. It is in mint condition. The buyer pays the shipping of $40.00.
