This circa 1880 Jaffe Kurd rug measures 1 ‘ 10” x 3’ 3 “. It is a bag that has been opened up showing the lovely striped kilim back and the soumak work at the top and bottom. This lovely Kurd is full pile. It has two small holes about the size of a dime as photographed. It is composed of all vegetable dyes. The ends and sides are complete.
