#6756 Laver Kerman

This circa 1910 Laver Kerman measures 4’0” x 6’ 8 “.  It is a fantastic rug with an overall motif and medallion.   The medallion is ivory and rose with flowers in a round motif.  The field is in navy blue and a riot of flowers and three shades of blue, red, rose, gold, ivory, and pale green.  The corners are well drawn in ivory with total floral coverage.  the major border is rose,  pale blue, ivory, and comprised of flowers and tiny squares.  This type of Kerman is known as milfleur and is very rare and desirable.  This rug except for about 15 knots at the upper left corner is full pile.  The ends and sides are complete.  The rug is clean and ready to go.  This is a fantastic and beautiful piece of woven art.  The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of $75.00.
