#6727 Facralo Kazak

This circa 1870 Facralo Kazak measures 4’0” X 5’9”. It is composed of a large prayer design and blue, green and teal with reentrant arches on the tomato red ground.  There is a star like medallion in white enclosing a rondell with an eight pointed star in the center.  This is rare.  There is usually a palmette there. The field is lined with the waterbug palmette or scarab motif.  The archaic ivory border reminds me of Turkish and Central Asian rugs.  This rug has good pile with complete ends and sides.  It is clean and ready to go.  The buyer pays the shipping of $100.00.
