#6711 Kazak
This circa 1880 Kazak measures 3 ‘ 9” x 5’ 8 “. It has three medallions, two in red and one in peach containing latch hook motif. All is on a medium blue field. There are two major borders of very stylized meandering birds on an ivory ground and flower heads in brown, ivory, and blue on a rose-colored ground. The rug has good pile but shows slight wear. The edges have been rebound but losing nothing of the rug. The ends have lost the outer checkerboard guard stripe and have been overcast. All in all this is a very attractive rug. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 40.00.
