#6657 Mongolian Or Peking? This old Mongolian or Peking Chinese rug measures 2’9” X 4’4”. The design is called the ‘coin design’ for obvious reasons. The rug has slight end erosion and one dog eared corner. It has excellent pile. The rug dates from 1850-1860, possibly older. It is a very hard to find design and very well executed. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 20.00.
