#6655 Art Deco Chinese Rug
This circa 1920 Chinese Art Deco Oriental rug measures 5’0” X 8’0”. It has a scarlet field with a center medallion of a standing urn filled with a myriad of twisting flowering branches. There is a bird in flight in each quadrant of the field in purple , yellow, green, and blue. It has a minor border of dark emerald green. The major border is in navy blue consisting of a standing urn of flowers every 90 degrees around the rug. There is a large cartouche in opposite corners in the border in gray, purple, yellow, red, peach and green. The rug is 99% full pile. The rug is clean and ready to go.
