#6557 Art Deco Chinese Rug This circa 1930 Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug measures 2’6” X 4’10”. It has a turquoise field with a center medallion of a wreath of flowers. The corners are worked in flowers. There is a potted plant on a stand at each end of the field. There are four flying bats as a sign of good luck. The rug is encompassed with a butter yellow border with cartouches containing a butterfly and flower and a meandering vine and flower head motif. This is one of a set of three. (Two 2’6” x 4’10” and one 4’X6’ rug) This rug is in essentially mint condition. The ends and sides are intact. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 35.00.
