#6548 Mandarin Art Deco Chinese Rug This circa 1930 Mandarin Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug measures 811 X 115. It is woven using the finest cork wool. It has a fantastic gold field containing flowering urns going into the gray border. It has tiered stands holding multi colored flowering plants. Going up the right side there is a grouping of rocks. Sitting atop the rocks is a diamond designed pot with multi colored flowers. In the middle are three circling bats, for good luck. There is a tall Chinese table with a half opened lidded box out of which is growing a multi colored vine. There is a pair of ripe plums and a chrysanthemum in the border. The colors are simply magnificent and very deeply saturated and include reds, blues, greens, purples, orange, ivory, rust, blue/green and electric blue. The rug is extremely well drawn. It has a fantastic design. This rug is in essentially mint condition. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 150.00.
