#6541 Peking Art Deco Chinese Rug
This circa 1900 Peking weave Art Deco Chinese Oriental rug measures
3’1” X 5’8”. It has a nice scenic design. There is a tree coming up
from a rockery with light blue flowers on a dark blue ground. There is what appears to be
a baby bird on the bough of the tree with its parents circling overhead, all worked in
shades of blue, gray and orange. The border is a pale peach to ivory with baskets, ink
pots and cartouches. This rug is in essentially mint condition. The ends and sides are
intact. It is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 50.00.
