#6513 Peking Weave Art Deco
Chinese Rug
This circa 1900 Peking weave Art Deco rug measures 4’1” X
6’10”. It has a bat, butterfly and a phoenix bird all in blue, pink and brown
flying over a rock garden containing a pagoda in pink and blue. There is bamboo in two
shades of blue and a nice little humpback bridge going over a lake all centered on a big
rock with a snakey big tree, upon which is
perched another big phoenix bird. This is all on an ivory ground which is encompassed with
a very dark blue border. The rug shows slight wear. The ends and sides are complete. It is
clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 45.00.
