#6450 Laver Kerman This circa 1880 Laver Kerman measures 4’6” X 6’5”. It has a hunting scene and a tree of life design on an ivory ground. The rug has a lively design of storks, deer, goats and ducks on a lake and two large peacocks, one fully displayed one in the trees. There is a small village scene. There are birds flying and in the trees. This is all done in blue (the lake), browns, reds, greens and yellow. The border is maroon with a design of rabbits, birds and flowering trees. The rug has slight brown erosion consistent with its age. The ends and sides are good. It is 99.9% full pile. This rug is a masterpiece! The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 75.00.
