#6442 Art Deco Chinese rug This circa 1930 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 89 X 116. This rug has a cranberry red field with weeping willows coming out of rocks in the lower right corner and a Chinese man in a little green boat with an umbrella keeping him in the shade. In the lower left corner there is a vase with a flowering plant in blues, yellows, greens and purples. In the border above, is a house on a riverbank backed up to a cliff with a large urn of flowers on the deck . This is sheltered by a large spray of flowers in purple, yellow, blue and green. The top of the rug has a gigantic flowering tree growing out of rocks in the midnight blue border. The entire rug is encompassed with a skinny yellow border and a wide major border in blue from which most of the action originates. The rug is in excellent full pile condition. Clean and ready to go! The buyer pays the s&h of 125.00.
