#6427 Art Deco Chinese Rug
This circa 1910 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 9’0” X
11’6”. It is a beautiful Manchester wool rug which has a midnight blue field
with a center medallion in pale blue with a bouquet of flowers in purple, blue, rust,
orange and yellow. The medallion is surrounded by six sprays of flowers in the same
colors, all encompassed by a yellow minor border. The major border is pale blue with
cartouches of flower sprays. The rug is essentially perfect. The buyer pays the shipping
and insurance of 125.00.
