#6364 Art Deco Chinese Rug
This circa 1920 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 4’2” X
6’8”. This is one of those 1 in 100 Manchester wool Art Deco rugs. It has a navy
blue field with a dark blue border. The design consists of a flowering branch coming out
of the right border from which are suspended three hanging lamps with two very nicely
drawn birds in the branches in purples, blues , yellows and reds. The upper right corner
contains a great butterfly. The lower left has a spectacular phoenix bird. A smoking
incense burner and the pearl of wisdom complete the border design. The rug is full pile.
The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the
shipping and insurance of 35.00.
