#6357 Art Deco Chinese Rug

This circa 1930 Art Deco Chinese rug measures 4’0 X 6’9”. It has three fantastic butterflies in green, ivory, maroon and yellow flitting around an image of hanging flowers in the upper right corner. The center contains a large hanging paper lantern with a green tassel suspended in space from a flowering tree growing from the top of a cliff on the right side of the field. The left side has a wonderfully drawn flowering urn on a table. The blue ground, encompassed with a small pink border, serves as a very dramatic backdrop for all this action. The rug is full pile. The ends and sides are complete. The rug is clean and ready to go. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 35.00.
