#6238 Peking Chinese
This circa 1910 Peking Chinese rug measures 9’3” X 11’10”. It has an Art Deco design with six bunches of flowers on a red ground with undulating vines and flowers in the corners. The center medallion is a phoenix bird sitting on a rock surrounded by circles of flowers and vines in shades of blue, red, ivory and gold. The inner border is a pale seafoam green with meandering vines and flower heads. The main border is navy blue and has vases holding flowers, cherries, teapots, and cups. The rug has slight wear as photographed. All in all, it is in very good condition. The buyer pays the shipping and insurance of 100.00.
