#6091 Marasali Shirvan

This Marasali Shirvan rug dated 1825 measures 4’0” X 5’6”. It has a prayer design on an ivory field with a lattice design. Each opening in the lattice has a different motif. The rug is missing the barber pole border (two knots wide) all the way around. The rest of the rug has good pile. There were some holes which have been professionally repaired in Turkey and the repair work is invisible. The rug is in excellent condition.
