#5895 Peking Chinese

This circa 1870 Peking Chinese rug measures 3’1” X 4’9”. It has flower vases, a book, a writing dish and a small center medallion on an ivory ground, all encompassed by two borders in different shades of ivory with a flower head and flowering vine design. There is slight erosion in the blue of the medallion. This rug is full pile with complete ends and sides. The buyer pays the s&I of 35.00.
