#5691 Peking Chinese
This circa 1900 Peking Chinese rug measures 3’1” X
3’6”. It has a design consisting of one lone rooster perched on a rock
surrounded by flowering tree branches on a brown ground. The border has various Chinese
iconographies on a light blue ground. The ends and sides are complete. The fringed has
never even been opened. There is very slight wear in the field. This rug is clean and
