#5612 Shousha Karabaugh
This Fabulous Classic Caucasian Karabaugh measures 4’0” X 9’4”. It is in essentially mint condition. It has a midnight blue field with maroon to aubergine corners and a pulled medallion. There is a very beautiful pale green in the rug especially in the border design. There is to my mind no name for this border design – it is unique. This is a solid 3rd quarter 19th century piece. It has all veg dyes. I cannot over emphasize the excellent condition of this rug. This rug would be a fabulous addition to anyone’s collection!
