#5280 Agra Prayer

This circa 1850 Agra Prayer rug measures 4'5" X 6'7". It has a maroon field with blue spandrels and a modified Tree of Life going up the center and up both sides. The rug has eight borders. The ends and sides are totally intact. There is a little bit of wear where your knees would hit in prayer, otherwise the rug is essentially full pile. The borders are in alternating ivory and light blue. This is a very distinct rug. I've never seen one very much like it.
